RES 9020 - Qualifying Essay 2: Literature Review

The purpose of the course is to write an essay that entails an exploration of an area of research interest in order to demonstrate proficiency in literature review research competency to undertake a dissertation. In contrast to RES 9010, which is focused on the critique of an existing dissertation, this essay involves a content domain focus within the degree field, including a critical review of relevant theoretical, empirical, and historical literature on the selected topic.
