Certificate in Mindfulness Applications
Return to: College of Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences The 12-credit certificate program in Mindfulness Applications is intended for practitioners, wellness professionals, and educators who want to master the emerging scholarship in mindfulness-based approaches to leadership, organizational development, and healthcare. The core curriculum of three courses is designed to provide mastery of the mindfulness literature, associated theories of leadership, and experiential components to develop practice skills. Students will also select a fourth course from alternatives in consulting, organizational systems and strategic approaches, or sustainability.
The Certificate in Mindfulness Applications provides an option for current Saybrook students enrolled in a degree program to advance their expertise in the growing field of mindfulness applications and leadership. Electives can be used to satisfy the required courses. The student’s faculty advisor will notify the Registrar when the student completes the four (4) required courses and a certificate of completion will be processed.
After completing this certificate students will be prepared to invest mindfulness expertise to develop and implement programs in organizations and communities.
