The certificate program in Neurofeedback provides and alternative for the individual who wishes to obtain a comprehensive introduction to neurofeedback without undertaking an academic degree program. All training and didactic education is designed to follow the knowledge blueprint of the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). Students pursuing the certificate must document access to neurofeedback instrumentation capable of recording EEG signals. The certificate is a 9-credit program, including three academic courses and two residential conferences. The certificate program in Neurofeedback offers on enrollment period in the Fall semester. The first course begins in Fall and continues through the end of the summer semester or until the practicum requirement is complete.
Additional BCIA requirements include a course in anatomy and physiology, supervised experience and an exam. Refer to the BCIA for further details: www.bcia.org.
