TSC 6590 - Peace and Justice StudiesThis course reviews theories from the social sciences in the study of peace, conflict, violence, and justice. It covers both positive (harmonious and sustainable ways of living) and negative (absence of war or violent conflict) conceptualizations of peace and justice at the interpersonal, cultural, national, and international levels, as well as considers the development of nonviolent efforts to create viable alternatives to militarism, inequality and injustice." 3 credit(s) |
