PSY 8250 - Personality AssessmentThis course focuses on the individual as seen through the lens of personality theories and the assessment instruments that are derived from those theories. Students learn the uses of standardized and non-standardized instruments for assessing the person-in-process including personality, strengths, values, vocational interests, spirituality, social environment, psychopathology, cognitions, and behavior. Students practice administration, scoring, and writing comprehensive, strengths-focused assessments that provide evidence-based conclusions and deal with the legal, ethical, and cultural issues in the selection, administration, and interpretation of personality tests and other instruments. Course has a residential component completed at the RLE - PSY 8251 (required concurrent enrollment). Prerequisite(s): PSY 8230 3 credit(s) |
