HM 7538 - Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship


This course examines, through an interdisciplinary approach, the processes that foster innovation and allow individuals to transform their ideas into purpose enhancing-profit generating business opportunities. Students analyze the empirical research of the innovation- based strategies as a source of competitive advantage to identify best practices in designing and running a successful business initiative.

All of these considerations are integrated with the notion of achieving the quadruple bottom line of enhancing the position positions of people, planet, profit, guided by purpose. Prerequisite(s): None 3 credit(s)
