PSY 1012 - Skill-Building and Professional Development in Clinical Psychology


This course is required for all clinical psychology (CP) students and is delivered during the Residential Learning Experience (RLE) only, which students attend throughout their matriculation. Students will be engaged in various clinical skills-building activities, interventions, theoretical explorations, and practices, expanding the online learning experience. A variety of professional development foundational and contemporary topics will be covered. The intention of the course is to contribute to the exposure of CP students (novice to advanced) to the knowledge, guidelines, research tools, and standards that are necessary to effectively socialize them into the field of psychology.
