MAM 8020 - Collaborative Work Systems & TeamsThis course examines the vital role that teams play in contemporary organizations. The theories of team development, team leadership and collaboration will be analyzed with an emphasis on testing practical utility. The role of culture, diversity and identity are surfaced so that students develop and understanding of principles of inclusion. Students are tasked with identifying various types of teams, including virtual, and the characteristics of each. They will identify leadership and followership skills required to work successfully in collaborative systems. 3 credit(s) |
