MBM 9011 - Methodology Critique Candidacy EssayIn this course, students will select a published dissertation within the past seven years that is similar to their future methodological design. The purpose of the critique essay is to focus attention on the methods chapter in an existing dissertation to learn how related principles and research tenets apply to a different study. Students will be expected to constructively critique the appropriateness of the research question(s) to the selected methodological approach, data collection, analysis, interpretation of the findings, and utility of the research. Prerequisite(s): MBM 5557 - Advanced Research Methods OR any Advanced Research course offered through the Department of Research. 3 credit(s) Offered: Offered FA/SP -Terms A/B and SU.
