RES 1040 - Qualitative Research MethodsThis course examines research methods of inquiry that are primarily descriptive and interpretive in nature. These methods include naturalistic observation, participant-observation, unobtrusive measures, survey research, in-depth interviewing, and the use of archival and other written documents. Entails a research proposal, IRB review, execution of a pilot research study, and written research report. (Ph.D. program only) Prerequisite(s): Completion of RES 1015 . 3 credit(s) |
