ORG 7070 - Leading Organizational TransformationThis course describes how transformational organizational change can be conceptualized and the techniques, models and theories that support planning for and implementing a change process. It investigates how leaders who initiate and direct major organizational shifts can mobilize, focus, generate commitment, and implement new directions in an organization. The course combines theory, case material, models and accounts of how and why organizations change their cultures, purposes, and/or structures. Students will undertake a detailed analysis of an organizational change they have experienced, or one they have access to through interviews. 3 credit(s) |
